Alias

Accounts can have aliases linked to them, which allows users to create alternative names or identifiers associated with their accounts.

Use the alias field in the Create an Account endpoint to create the alias.

This feature makes it more convenient to receive transactions, as it provides a recognizable and easy-to-use option for sending and receiving funds.

For example, a user could set up a link between their account and their Instagram handle (e.g. @username_1).

By doing so, instead of sharing their account ID (e.g. 3172933b-50d2-4b17-96aa-9b378d6a6eac) during transactions, they can simply provide their Instagram handle (e.g. @username_1) as a more user-friendly and recognizable identifier.
